moment. It was a feeling, long held, finally released.

The look was everything quiet luxury should be. A structured
bralette and a floor-length skirt, hand-sewn with Rimzim Dadu&#039;s signature cord
technique, each strand moving like a feather in the sea breeze. Pearls and
white florals layered through the silhouette, chosen not for aesthetics, but
for meaning. Every detail was a quiet tribute to Guruji, her faith woven
literally into the fabric. Weightless yet architectural, the ensemble felt like
something between a garment and a prayer.

And it was. For an entire year.

New Delhi : Ever since the Tasva brand was launched in 2021 with a
strategic partnership between Aditya Birla Fashion &amp; Retail Ltd (ABFRL)
and designer Tarun Tahiliani, the men’s wear label has given a new
dimension for festive and occasion wear, that is a perfect blend of Indian
traditions and contemporary comfortable styling.

 

The latest collection showcased at Lakmē Fashion
Week in partnership with FDCI, was a celebration of great, timeless
crafts and creativity.

 

Ensuring that the collection offered the ideal festive
wardrobe options, premium fabrics were on the selection list. From silk
blends to custom jacquards and a variety of viscose alternatives, the look
offered restrained luxury. The embellishments stayed true to the Indian ethnos
as zardozi, pearls, appliqués, mirrorwork, Aari and Dori embroidery livened up
the elegance of the men’s wear style directions.

 

The colour card offered a wide array of choices suitable
for every occasion. From vibrant hues, the shade card moved to earthy tones and
brighter options. The addition of traditional wedding colours was emphasized
with neutral ivory, royal jade, glittering gold, sober taupe and discreet
salmon, which created a rainbow fantasy.

 

The Tasva collection was inspired by an amazing
line up of multiple avenues. Paisley motifs appeared in all their finery, while
the Tree of Life pattern offered grandeur. The Toile de Jouy (French Porcelain)
appeared as a unique inspiration, along with mosaic art, relief sculpture and
at times even the simple play of light. The inclusion of lippan art, popularly

The grand event was hosted by A Infinity Takeovers and powered by Beend-Beendni, featuring over 150 children aged between 3 to 15 years from across India.
Event organiser Anoop Chaudhary shared that India’s Little Fashion Hunters is the nation’s largest kids’ fashion platform. “Our aim is to provide a national-level stage where children can showcase their talent, creativity, and confidence on the runway,” he said. The event included special grooming and ramp training sessions to enhance the kids’ confidence and stage presence.
All participating children were honoured with trophies and certificates for their performances. “We strive to offer children golden opportunities to launch into the fashion and entertainment industry, enabling direct access to brand shoots, ad campaigns, and modelling assignments,” Chaudhary added.
The show featured eight spectacular fashion sequences with different themes designed by renowned designers and institutes. Ellen Fashion Institute presented outfits under a ‘Candy’ theme, while Devils and Angels showcased their wedding and partywear collection. Mini Club also highlighted stylish partywear designs, followed by Pear Bear with another glamorous partywear range. Teeny Hands presented a refreshing summer theme collection, AV Designer showcased wedding-themed outfits, Studio 41 displayed elegant partywear, and Readymade Home featured wedding collection themes for kids.
Adding to the event’s professional touch, all makeup and styling for the children were done by Lakmé Academy, ensuring that each young model appeared confident, stylish, and ready to shine on the runway.
Parents, designers, and attendees praised the event’s execution and appreciated the organisers’ efforts in creating such a significant platform for kids. Mumbai, 13th September 2024: Westside, India’s leading fashion brand has
been curating meaningful, socially important conversations with its Limitless
Podcast since 2022. Since its inception, the podcast has expanded
its narrative with each episode, featuring female personalities ranging from
actors to environmentalists. In 2024, the podcast welcomes a new host, Ahsaas
Channa, who is set to bring a Gen Z perspective to the show.

Known for
being bold and enlightening, season 2 promises to be bigger and better,
featuring familiar new faces who challenge conventions.

Expressing her excitement about
joining Limitless,
Ahsaas Channa says, “Westside is one of the few brands in our

Ahsaas Channa, a young and
influential actor with a significant Instagram following, started her career as
a child actor in popular Hindi films such as Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. She has since gained
recognition for her roles in various web series, including Kota Factory,
Half CA, and
Mismatched. The Limitless Podcast went live on 12th
September, 9 PM and will be available on Spotify, Apple podcast, YouTube, Jio
Saavn. The new season will feature leading Indian women from various fields,
including comedian Urooj Ashfaq, chefs Chinu Vaze and Guntas Sethi, and Indian
cricketer Renuka Singh Thakur, among others. The podcast also provides an
inside look at Westside through the stories of its people.
