Kia India has officially confirmed that the new-generation Sonet facelift will be launched in India on December 14, 2023. The facelifted Sonet will feature a number of design changes, including a new front fascia, sleeker headlamps and taillights, and a redesigned interior.
Exterior
The front fascia of the new Sonet will be dominated by a new grille, bumper, and skid plate. The headlamps and taillights will also be redesigned, with LED lighting elements. The side profile will remain largely unchanged, but the alloy wheels will be new.
Interior
The interior of the new Sonet will also see a number of changes. The dashboard layout will be redesigned, with a new central control console and steering wheel. The cabin will also feature a new premium leatherette seat upholstery and a host of other features, including a sunroof, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, an air purifier, wireless mobile charging, and a premium sound system.

The new Sonet is expected to be priced in the range of ₹8 lakh to ₹15 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new Sonet will compete with the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon facelift, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Maruti Suzuki S-Presso in the Indian market.
