Minister White opens 48th Store in India

The brand currently retails through over 5,000 Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs) across the country and plans to reach over 100 EBOs by FY 26-27.

In a communique to the media, Mr. Pothiraj, Managing Director and CEO of Otto Clothing Pvt. Ltd. which owns the brand said, “We are very excited to open our second store in the holy town of Tirupati today on this auspicious Muhurtam day – 16^th Jul. ‘25. 

Our presence in the city over the past 2 years with the first store located at Air Byepass Road has given us the confidence to launch this new store in the bustling market of Gandhi Road. We sincerely thank our patrons for supporting us all along.”

The brand offers a wide range of Dhotis, especially the Flexiwaist range that fits men of all ages and sizes, Shirts for various occasions, smartly designed Combo-packs including Shirts & Dhotis, Kurtas for casual & festival / occasion-wear, Fabric materials and the most popular Panchakajams. 

The brand also offers accessories including vests and briefs as well as a wide range of Kids-wear, to match that of the adults’ range.

The company employs over 1,000 people across its three factories located at Srivilliputhur, Salem & Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu. The Dhoti collections are woven at the company’s own looms located at Salem and Srivilliputhur, while the premium shirts are manufactured at the Sriperumbudur facility.

Minister White EBOs are currently spread across metro cities, Tier 1 / 2 cities across the five Southern States with 32 stores in Tamil Nadu & Puducherry, 6 in Andhra Pradesh, 4 each in Telangana and Karnataka and 1 in Kerala. 

The company has massive expansion plans over the next 18-24 months through Company owned as well as Franchise stores.

The brand is planning to expand to Northern India this year and is exploring expanding to international markets such as the USA, the UK, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia which have a sizeable Indian population.
