In a remarkable tribute to India's Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, Dr. Avinash Kate, the Dean of Shantamani Kala Kendra at Jain University, has unveiled an unprecedented collection of 75 portraits capturing various facets of the leader's persona. This unique artistic endeavor stands as a global first, showcasing an extensive series of portraits of a single individual in diverse forms. Crafted meticulously on canvas with acrylic colors, the portraits reflect the emotions, work, and devotion of Shri Modi towards 'Bharat Mata.'
The three-month-long project, described by Dr. Avinash Kate as a meditative process, has earned him global recognition and multiple records in international forums. Guided indirectly by Vedamurthy, Pandit Shriram Sharma, the founder of Gayatri Pariwar, the artistic journey added a spiritual dimension to the creation of these soulful portraits.
An accompanying book featuring the 75 conceptual paintings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was launched during the exhibition, providing insight into Dr. Kate's inner imagination and capturing the essence of Shri Modi's emotions.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Avinash Kate mentioned, “The inspiring leadership and unwavering commitment of our esteemed Prime Minister have been a constant source of motivation for me. This collection serves as a depiction of his emotional journey, portraying him as a true ambassador of hope.”
Dr. Chenraj Roychand, Chancellor of JAIN (Deemed-to-be University), commended the collection, stating, “The collection provides a unique glimpse into Dr. Kate’s inner imagination, capturing the essence of Shri Modi's emotions, whose leadership has not only shaped the present but is paving the way for a future where India stands tall on the global stage.”
The exhibition, held at the Constitution Club in New Delhi, saw the presence of prominent figures, including Sachin Sawant (Maharashtra Police, API), Dr. Chainraj Roychand (Chairman of Jain University), Shri Vishal C. (Director, Strategy and Development, JGI), and Dr. Gani Rajendra Vijay Maharaj (Founder of Sukhi Foundation Parivar, tribal Jain saint), among others. The team behind the project has approached the Prime Minister's office to display the collection.
In recognition of Dr. Avinash Kate's commitment to society in the field of art, he has been honored with prestigious awards, including world records, international records, Asia records, India records, and entries in the Limca Book of Records.
