Jaipur is gearing up for the 17th edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival, and alongside the literary extravaganza, the Jaipur Music Stage (JMS) has disclosed its impressive roster of performers. Running concurrently with the renowned literature festival, JMS promises an eclectic mix of artists from the Indian subcontinent, creating a vibrant tapestry of musical genres that encapsulate a fusion of styles, sounds, and histories.
First Evening:
- The opening night will feature the acclaimed singer, songwriter, and poet Alif (Mohammad Muneem), known for his multiple awards and contributions to Coke Studio Bharat’s Season 2. The evening will also showcase The Tapi Project, experimenting with genres like folk, trip-hop, jazz, and ambient textures, incorporating folk instruments into their unique sound.
