The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has unveiled AB InBev, the world's leading brewer, as a Worldwide Olympic Partner (TOP Partner) until 2028. In a pioneering move, AB InBev's zero-alcohol beer, Corona Cero, is set to become the global beer sponsor of the Olympic Games. The collaboration underscores both organizations' commitment to responsible consumption and their shared goal of contributing to a better world. Through this partnership, they aim to convey messages of connection, moderation, and celebration to billions of Olympic enthusiasts globally.

AB InBev CEO Michel Doukeris emphasized the natural synergy between beer and sports, portraying pride in becoming the first beer sponsor for the Olympics at the Worldwide Olympic Partner level. The choice of Corona Cero, a zero-alcohol beer, aligns with the ethos of moderation and choice. Doukeris expressed the partnership's potential to positively impact billions of fans worldwide, ushering in a new era of Olympic spirit during the upcoming games in 2024, 2026, and 2028.
With a rich history in brewing, AB InBev aims to leverage the partnership to foster positive change, emphasizing responsible alcohol consumption and moderation. The collaboration is expected to feature Corona Cero prominently as the leading global Worldwide Olympic Partner brand. Marcel Marcondes, AB InBev's Chief Marketing Officer, highlighted the excitement of bringing beer brands to the Olympics, positioning Corona as a rapidly growing global brand and anticipating accelerated growth for Corona Cero.

Jiri Kejval, Chair of the IOC Revenues and Commercial Partnerships Commission, welcomed AB InBev into the TOP program, noting the company's global recognition and the shared vision of supporting sport to create a positive impact.
The partnership extends beyond the Olympics, with marketing rights encompassing the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the Paralympic Games through the long-term collaboration agreement between the IOC and IPC. The collaboration marks a significant step forward in bringing together renowned brands to further the mission of promoting sports, unity, and positive change on a global scale.
