New Delhi, India: Sony India has introduced two cutting-edge additions to its Alpha 7C series of compact full-frame interchangeable lens cameras, namely the Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7CR.

Key Features of the Alpha 7C II

  • Features a full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R® CMOS sensor with around 33.0 effective megapixels and the latest BIONZ XR® image processing engine for superior imaging performance. Whether capturing stills or movies, users can enjoy high-quality imaging across diverse scenarios like travel and daily snapshots.

  • Weighing up to 22% less and having up to 45% less volume than the Alpha 7 IV, the α7C II is a compact powerhouse.

  • Standard ISO sensitivities range from 100 to 51200 for both stills and movies, enabling noise-free shooting even in high-sensitivity conditions.

Key Features of the Alpha 7CR

  • Equipped with a full-frame back-illuminated Exmor R® CMOS sensor boasting approximately 61.0 effective megapixels and the latest BIONZ XR® image processing engine for outstanding high-resolution imaging.

  • Weighing approximately 29% less and having approximately 53% less volume than the Alpha 7R V, the Alpha 7CR combines portability with powerful capabilities.

  • Standard ISO sensitivity ranges from 100 to 32000 for both stills and movies, expandable to ISO 50 to 102400 for stills.

  • Features 7.0-step optical 5-axis in-body image stabilization and Pixel Shift Multi Shooting for high-resolution imagery.

  • Compatible with the grip extension GP-X2, included with the Alpha 7CR, for stable shooting during extended periods or with telephoto lenses.
